Monnit, a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT) remote monitoring solutions, is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer/Developer to join their growing engineering team to design, test, and optimize Monnit's sensors, gateways, and communication modules.
Requirements
- Firmware development: C, C-Sharp, Python, or JavaScript
- Hardware design: schematic capture and PCB layout (KiCad experience preferred)
- Debugging tools: oscilloscopes, multimeters, or logic analyzers
Responsibilities
- Firmware testing and validation* for new and existing Monnit products
- Hardware characterization and troubleshooting* , ensuring reliable sensor performance
- Collaborating on schematic design reviews* and assisting in PCB layout and verification
- Implementing firmware updates* and testing new features in C, C-Sharp, or Python
Other
- Bachelor's degree* in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- 1+ years* of hands-on experience through internships, senior projects, or lab work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical ideas clearly
