The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) is looking to modernize and secure processes for taxpayers and employees through the configuration and support of their integrated tax portal.
Requirements
- Microsoft.Net framework with VB/C-Sharp languages
- SQL Server database
- DORWAY tools
- Computer programming skills
Responsibilities
- Programing new or modifying existing code
- Developing information systems utilizing DORWAY tools, Microsoft.Net framework with VB/C-Sharp languages, and SQL Server database
- Writing testing documentation and testing updates to the system
- Developing and demonstrating a basic knowledge of DORWAY and business operational processes
- Preparing appropriate system documentation
- Interviewing customers to determine business requirements and assisting users in training and operation of systems
Other
- A high school diploma and work experience in computer programming OR An associate’s degree in a related field OR A bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Ability to work flexible hours from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- Ability to work remotely up to two days per week after one year of employment with SCDOR
- Must comply with all SCDOR tax requirements and subject to a National Criminal Background Check, which includes fingerprinting
