Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Product Acceptance Specialist to join their team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of parts and documentation within their distribution operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of traceability
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers
- Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
- Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift, Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements
- Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received
- Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to increase Inspector productivity.
- Assist with the on-hold process.
- Places parts in proper location and/or inspectors after identifying and verifying part numbers
- Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer
Other
- 1-2 years of related general work experience
- Fluent in English, reading, writing and verbal communication
- Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday.
- This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
