Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to develop C desktop applications in a virtualized environment to support critical defense initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with strong expertise in C.
- Proficiency in writing clear, detailed technical documentation.
- Experience with technical documentation tools such as Visio and MS Project.
- Background in missile warning or missile defense systems.
- Operational experience with PDS-M, C2BMC, or similar operational displays.
- Hands-on experience implementing software security practices in defense environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate C desktop applications within virtualized environments to ensure seamless system performance.
- Enhance existing applications and contribute to building new software solutions for advanced system integration.
- Assist in designing and implementing application-layer network protocols using sockets for robust communication.
- Utilize software version control systems and collaborate effectively in an agile development environment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and formal progress reports.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate project status, provide architectural insights, and collaborate on timeline estimates.

- Ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
