Amentum is seeking a software engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren H20 by developing software for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Fire Control Systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
- Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing.
- Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Source code tracking tools (i.e Git, Bitbucket)
- C++ (Ada also Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Developing software for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Fire Control Systems
- Developing graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users.
- Developing software updates using C++, and implementing DevSecOps tools
Other
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computer Science, and/or Physics with entry level experience.
- Must have (or be able to obtain) an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret
- Ability to Commute to Dahlgren, VA
