Boeing is looking for an Entry Level Software Engineer–Test & Verification to support the B-52H Software Sustainment team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role will focus on performing software verification testing and data analysis for the B-52H bomber aircraft to ensure qualified, mission-capable software is delivered to the U.S. Air Force.
Requirements
- Familiarity with test processes; ability to review test and technical documentation; effective writing skills
- Experience with one or more of the following languages: C++, C-Sharp, Java or Ada
- Familiarity with software / office tools such as MatLab, software compilers, IBM Rational, Microsoft suite of tools and applications, or similar tools
Responsibilities
- Assists with the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality
- Contributes to partnering with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability
- Participates in the design of test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications
- Assists with the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments
- Assists with executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes
- Contributes to providing test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities
- Supports maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes

- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science; or an Associate degree in Computer Science; Information Systems, or equivalent
