The Boeing Company is seeking Entry-Level Software Engineers - DevSecOps to support the existing capabilities of Air Proprietary 1 in the Air Dominance organization

Requirements

  • Experience with C++, C, Java, or Python
  • Experience with Agile Software Development
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Ability to obtain Security+ certification
  • Experience with Linux

Responsibilities

  • Gathers information to develop, document and maintain standardized, efficient processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software
  • Assists to automate, develop, monitor, improve and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
  • Aids and provides information to analyze, plan, and execute mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • Assists to implement an environment that enables high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Provides data to support collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems
  • Assists to implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment

Other

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
