i3 is seeking an Entry Level Web Developer to help develop critical capabilities for a cloud-based training distribution platform that enables virtual training.
Requirements
- Experience (academic or professional) in an object-oriented programming language such as C, Java, Python, or C++.
- Have experience with Agile development methodology and associated tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Have experience with source control such as Git or Subversion.
- Familiarity with Git for software source control and configuration management.
- Experience using C with web applications.
- Familiarity with web frameworks like React or ASP.NET is a plus.
- Experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, or MySQL
Responsibilities
- Candidate will develop software in C, with an emphasis in ASP.NET, Blazor, and some frontend design.
- Candidate will develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
- Software will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including creative designers and software developers.
- The candidate will be familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.
Other
- Have a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.
- Security Clearance: Candidate must have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
- Be a US citizen.
- CONUS Travel required: Less than 10%
- Experience designing responsive user interfaces.
