Siemens is looking to improve engineering processes through data analytics tools, automate reports, and derive insights for informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience with Node-RED, Java Script, VB, .net or any other language to develop a solution.
  • Strong experience with requirements planning and alignment with solution stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Enable automated information flow from quality issues data to engineering department.
  • Identify and resolve issues in shop floor systems, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Support the development and integration of engineering drawings (Electrical and Mechanical) and quality issues that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of the department.
  • Work with senior engineers to define solution outcomes and drive the solution to final solution deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to increase flow through quality issues data pipeline to quality check software.
  • Work with quality team on issues caused by engineering errors for final resolution
  • Support all COMPAS enhancement-related requests.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or combination of related education and experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment creating/working with data models to assist in reducing errors.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • Recent college grad with similar experience working with internships will be considered.
  • Ability to work in a diverse global workforce with a commitment to equity and inclusion.
