The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is needed to design, develop, and implement analytics tools and data solutions to meet business data needs, gather requirements, analyze data, and develop robust analytics solutions for advanced projects, self-service analytics, and business user consumption.
Requirements
- Expertise with business intelligence tools: Microsoft BI stack, SAP Business Objects, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, Crystal Reports, etc.
- Expertise programming in SQL, Python, R, SAS or equivalent programming languages.
- Expertise writing relational and multidimensional database queries, database object development, optimization, etc.
- Strong experience in data warehousing design and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience operating efficiently within the Business Intelligence development lifecycle.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and verification.
- Strong experience debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and implements analytics tools and data solutions.
- Gathers requirements, analyzes data and develops robust analytics solutions for advanced projects, self-service analytics and business user consumption.
- Interfaces with clinical, financial and operational business leaders, subject matter experts as well as Information Services applications teams to design reports, dashboards and analytics that accurately reflect business workflows and drive action.
- Plans, designs, architects, develops, tests and implements new BI solutions as well as troubleshoots, monitors and maintains existing BI solutions.
- Writes relational and multidimensional database queries that meet performance objectives and business use cases.
- Designs and develops data warehousing solutions.
- Develops and supports BI solutions.
Other
- Must be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- Will be seen as a leader and mentor less experienced BI Developers.
