The Digital Health & Technology department needs an EPIC Programmer/Analyst Sr to provide advanced-level programming and systems analysis support for strategic/tactical projects, focusing on the implementation of integrated hospital/corporate computer systems and resolving software malfunctions.
Requirements
- Epic Certification required.
- Requires knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Demonstrated ability to technically contribute as a team member to strategic and tactical projects
- Employee possesses knowledge and ability to accept independent responsibility to lead tactical projects of advanced complexity
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced-level programming and systems analysis support for a broad array of strategic/tactical projects as assigned.
- Participates in all areas of project life cycle, including: project definition, project estimating, systems design, computer programming, systems implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation.
- Functionally provides technical guidance to entry- and intermediate-level programming staff
- Acts as leader and coordinator of team assignments and goals
- Is free to interact within general guidelines in a broad scope of responsibility to recommend, design, develop, and implement information systems that meet departmental objectives within functional area of responsibility
- Will respond to the software malfunctions of assigned systems and provide support and assistance to operations and users to correct and avoid future recurrence of production application problems

- Associate Degree w/6+ years job experience & 3 years ERP experience required.
- Bachelor Degree w/4+ years job experience & 2 years ERP experience required.
- IT area of study or related area required. Related areas of study include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine.
- Project Management Certification is preferred
- Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with technical staff, management, customers, vendors, other employees, physicians, patients, and visitors
