Requirements
- Epic experience
- Epic Certification
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Good analytical and documentation skills
- Project Management Certification is preferred
- IT area of study or related area
- Related areas of study include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced-level programming and systems analysis support for a broad array of strategic/tactical projects as assigned
- Participates in all areas of project life cycle, including: project definition, project estimating, systems design, computer programming, systems implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation
- Functionally provides technical guidance to entry- and intermediate-level programming staff
- Acts as leader and coordinator of team assignments and goals
- Is free to interact within general guidelines in a broad scope of responsibility to recommend, design, develop, and implement information systems that meet departmental objectives within functional area of responsibility
- Demonstrates the ability to integrate advanced technical skills with knowledge of the business to provide effective information systems solutions
- Will respond to the software malfunctions of assigned systems and provide support and assistance to operations and users to correct and avoid future recurrence of production application problems

- Associate Degree w/6+ years job experience
- Bachelor Degree w/4+ years job experience
- Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with technical staff, management, customers, vendors, other employees, physicians, patients, and visitors
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Proven organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
