The company is looking to optimize equipment performance to support a 24/7 production environment and introduce new manufacturing equipment to support high-volume MLCC production lines.
Requirements
- Familiarity with ceramic capacitor manufacturing processes and equipment, including Mylar tape casting, screen printing, firing, and electrical testing of ceramic capacitors
- Experience with equipment maintenance, repair, and upgrades, as well as knowledge of cleanroom and facility requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables, macros)
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to introduce the next generation of assembly and test automation equipment
- Establish and maintain a robust maintenance system for key equipment
- Support the Process Engineering team in conducting Design of Experiments (DoE), process optimization, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to meet On-Time-To-Plan (OTTP) goals and financial objectives
- Maintain accurate documentation for equipment, maintenance procedures, and engineering changes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Facilities teams to support new product introductions, process transfers, and infrastructure upgrades
- Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and upgrades
Other
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading an equipment engineering team in the semiconductor, MLCC, or related manufacturing industries
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and driving results
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
