The Virginia Retirement System (VRS) is seeking a skilled and motivated ERP Developer to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, deployed as a Software as a Service (SaaS). This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing ERP functionalities, integrating third-party products, and supporting related interfaces and solutions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the technical components of the ERP application development lifecycle management.
  • Creates and maintains complex integrations and interfaces between ERP and other applications.
  • Builds and maintains APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for seamless integration with other systems.
  • Analyzes business needs and translate them into technical specifications, develop, test and deploy changes.
  • Oversees and manages ERP related projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Provides technical support for troubleshooting issues, conducts monthly data backups, refreshes lower environments, and monitors production jobs for ERP solutions.
  • Creates custom extensions, modifications, and integrations with ERP solutions including data manipulation, workflows, and user interfaces.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or a closely related field.
  • Three (3) or more years in implementing or maintaining ERP solutions.
  • Workday HCM or relevant Workday technical certification preferred.
  • The current hybrid schedule for technology employees is 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday).
