Sungrow is looking for an Application Engineer/Application Engineering Coordinator Intern to support their engineering and business decisions by refining technical documents, analyzing market information, developing application tools, and understanding industry standards within the renewable energy sector.
Requirements
- Basic coding skills; knowledge of Visual Basic, Python and MATLAB preferred.
- Comfortable interpreting technical documents and schematics, including structure drawings, SLDs etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Visio.
Responsibilities
- Edit and refine customer-faced technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Gather and analyze market information, delivering insightful analysis to support business decisions.
- Develop application tools to facilitate engineering daily support
- Assist in understanding and applying industry certifications and standards to project and processes.
- Support technical documentation matrix during project support
- Utilize data analysis skills to interpret technical and market data effectively.
- Develop a professional understanding of electrical engineering or systems engineering principles.
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Currently pursuing a Master’s (or Doctorate) degree from a top 50 engineering college in the U.S. or Canada
- Exhibit a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainable technology solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for editing and generating technical documents.
