The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Software Systems Engineer to join the Advanced Mission Management Denali team to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. This role will focus on providing system engineering functions for the design, development, and maintenance of complex, multi-tiered application software systems used to support the command and control of space vehicles.
Requirements
- 2 plus years’ experience with designing software systems from customer and user requirements
- 3 plus years’ experience Agile processes.
- Experience with space-based technologies including knowledge of system interactions and standards
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques
Responsibilities
- Providing system engineering functions for the design, development, and maintenance of complex, multi-tiered application software systems used to support the command and control of space vehicles.
- Work day to day with software and Test Engineers in order to implement, test, and document new features and improvements for both web services and applications supporting distributed computing solutions.
- Lead agile activities including daily scrums, retrospectives, and PO sync.
- Develop and maintain requirements documentation to specify system Conops and performance.
- Develop and maintain agile backlog of capabilities that drive software development execution.
- Collaborate with test team to identify test procedures for code coverage and thread functionality.
- Meet regularly with customers and users to facilitate software system quality, performance, and functionality.

- This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) to interface with customers and other external organizations
- Adhere to team development standards for engineering processes, tools and metrics.
- This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
