Gelber Group is looking to solve the problem of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities in FX markets, by hiring an Experienced FX Trader to manage their own trading book and collaborate with other traders to achieve team goals.
Requirements
- 2 years or more of verified risk-adjusted profitability in FX markets
- Proficiency with trading platforms, execution algorithms, and market data analysis tools
- Openness to feedback and willingness to adapt your trading style with changes in market conditions
- Strong understanding of trading methodology and market insight
- Ability to manage and communicate risk in accordance with the policies and limits set forth by the Firm
- Entrepreneurial mindset with competitive nature
- Proven self-starter with exceptional product knowledge
Responsibilities
- Manage your own trading book with a focus on FX products
- Analyze market trends, order flow, and technical patterns to identify trading opportunities
- Develop, test, and refine your trading strategies using historical data and real-time market conditions
- Continuously monitor macroeconomic events, central bank policy shifts, and geopolitical developments to identify opportunities
- Conduct research to develop new strategies and improve the performance of your existing strategies
- Monitor material changes in levels of risk and variance in PnL, especially focused around deviation from your plans, and proactively communicate those changes to leadership
- Grow your own business through mentorships
