Belvedere Trading is looking to fill a Floor Trader role to provide liquidity and drive performance in the open outcry marketplace, specifically in the SOFR pit. The role requires analyzing data, identifying trading opportunities, managing risk, and collaborating with technologists to optimize trading systems and strategies.
Requirements
- Experience trading in an open outcry pit
- Strong quantitative skills with a proficiency in probability and statistics
- An ability to apply quantitative skills and logical reasoning to solve complex problems
Responsibilities
- Utilize cutting edge proprietary software designed by our technology team
- Work alongside other experienced traders to learn Belvedere’s proprietary systems and portfolio analysis
- Develop and refine tools to evaluate risk, analyze positional opportunities, and enhance trade efficiency in SOFR and related markets.
- Analyze market data to identify trends, price dislocations, and opportunities for optimized trade execution
- Apply knowledge gained from previous trading experience while learning new strategies
- Execute trades in a fast-paced environment with precision and a focus on maximizing profitability.
