The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Quality Engineer to support APQP verification and acceptance activity and ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
- Experience in the application / deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or AS9145 within organizations
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications, (CQA-Certified Quality Auditor); (CQE-Certified Quality Engineer); (CQT-Certified Quality Technician)
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with metrics and root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- Experience leading or managing projects and teams
- Experience with design and production certification plans
Responsibilities
- Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
- Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformance's.
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
- 3+ years of experience
