The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Software Configuration Management (SCM) Engineer to support the product development team in Richardson TX, specifically for the establishment, upgrade, and sustainment of US Navy programs.
Requirements
- GitLab and Artifactory experience is required
- Experience working in a software agile lifecycle is required
- Software for Training Systems and Mission Systems is developed primarily in Linux, using C++, Java, and scripting
- Eclipse is the primary software editing tool
- Windchill Process Library as a Process Management tool
- Compact Process Reference (CPR) tool as a Process Management tool
- DOORs for requirements management
Responsibilities
- Supports the software configuration within a given scope
- Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle.
- Coordinate software deliveries with software engineering team, security and customer locations.
- Moderate Software Review Board (SRB) meetings and providing agendas and minute
- Support the execution of small to medium projects including schedules, budgets and progress reporting to ensure implementations that are on time, within budget and meet quality objectives
- Analyze end users business processes to provide solutions to facilitate desired objectives
- Meet with end users to define requirements for software applications
Other
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5 years of relevant experience is required
- Active Secret Clearance is required and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance is required post start
- This position will be 100% onsite in Richardson, TX.
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
