The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer for Phantom Works Open C2 and Autonomy to support the TPSE II Software Development team, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming languages, such as Java and C++
- 5+ years of experience in developing software in a cloud-based environment
- 5+ years of experience in participating in an Agile software development team
- 5+ years of experience in full life cycle development: requirement analysis, design, development, test, integration
- Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems and networks. Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.
- Knowledge of software programming languages and databases and the ability to apply to the software domain.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
- Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
- Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
- Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
- Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
- Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 10% travel required
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
