- Experience developing and using modeling tools in cloud environments
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and processes
- Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
- Expert-level experience in Operations Research
- MS&A experience involving Cloud-based technologies
- MS&A experience involving Structured and unstructured Big Data
- MS&A experience involving Automation, augmentation, and artificial intelligence solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making across NGA’s business and mission functions.
- Develop models of NGA’s architectures, system requirements, and performance metrics—ensuring alignment with broader NGA and National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) strategies and the future vision for GEOINT.
- Oversee the design and application of complex models, tools, and algorithms to extract insights and patterns from large-scale datasets.
- Create simulations to evaluate alternatives, assess performance and design trade-offs, and explore new capabilities—providing data-driven recommendations for system deployment within existing NSG architectures and cloud environments.
- Guide and mentor teams of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level MS&A Engineers, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across all modeling efforts.
