Udacity, now an Accenture company, is looking to bridge the talent shortage and skills gaps in digital technologies by providing world-class technical support to learners in their Nanodegree journey, ensuring they can forge futures in tech.
Requirements
- Swift Programming Language (including advanced topics like Protocols, Generics, and Error Handling)
- SwiftUI for building modern, declarative iOS user interfaces
- SwiftData and/or Core Data for robust data persistence and state management
- iOS Networking, Concurrency, and Application Authentication protocols
- Xcode environment and the complete iOS application lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for students over an online community forum
- Answer questions around course content over the forum and facilitate content for students who get stuck in learning
- Host one weekly live virtual session to offer direct, real-time support to students.
- Redirect learners to appropriate support channels and escalate issues to the Mentor Operations team when needed
Other
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Mentors must have at least 7 years of industry experience or a master’s degree in the relevant field.
- Graduate from a Udacity Nanodegree Program is a added plus
- Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking, organizing technical talks, or webinars
- Positive character, trusted by the students, creating emotional ties in the group
- Flexibility at their current job to take this challenge part-time as an external contractor
- Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
