Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an Intern Web Engineer to contribute to the development and delivery of products, improve site performance, reduce technical debt, and work on accessibility tickets within an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Development experience in JavaScript, with an emphasis on reactive frameworks like REACT, Vue,
- Working knowledge of web-app development using the most widely use design patterns.
- Core web Development fundamentals - JS, ES6, HTML5, SASS/LESS, CSS3/Flexbox Grid, Unit testing frameworks, REST APIs, Nodejs.
- Some knowledge of GraphQL and data presentation
- Caching - Some experience working with caching frameworks such as Redis
- Experience with API orchestration, and aggregation
- Work with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools like Noibu.

- Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, associate program
- Expected Graduation date Spring 2027
- Eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada (based on role location) and provide proof of work authorization (citizen or permanent resident)

- Salary: $30/Hour for undergraduate and associate
