Pratt & Whitney is seeking a F135 Fleet Data Management, Database Developer to identify discrepant data within Maintenix, the F135 System of Record for depot level parts, and perform multi-platform and system data investigations to recommend data adjustments/corrections.
Requirements
- Proficient in current programming languages such as Python, Java or equivalent
- Experience using Oracle SQL Dialect and / or Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with business analytics and / or exploratory data analysis working with large datasets.
- Experience in enterprise applications such as SAP, or experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Experience using Databricks or similar data analytics platform
- Experience in web development
- Prior experience in safety critical applications environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support key business objectives.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to extract insights, validate assumptions, and support decision-making
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers, to understand and address business challenges.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, creating software that is both robust and scalable.
- Perform database updates and corrections based on data analysis of parts configuration and usage history
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries using Oracle SQL.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, and relationships optimized for performance and scalability.

- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of data programming/ data analytics experience or An advance degree with 5 years of data programming/ data analytics or 'in lieu of degree' with 12 years experience of data programming/ data analytics
