Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Forecasting Analyst to support a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team, conducting fleet behavior analytics and forecasting for the propulsion system depot repair network and life cycle planning to support the safety, readiness, effectiveness, and affordability of the propulsion system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience in forecasting and analytics models, or an Advance degree and 3 years of experience in forecasting and analytics models
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, or equivalent
- F135 or other Military Engines logistics experience
- Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing
- U.S. Person – Military contract stipulates the candidates must be U.S. Persons.
Responsibilities
- Development of predictive analytics using simple and advanced lifing algorithm data
- Mining of data of data from a variety of different business sources to perform appropriate business analytics. Using methods such as: Excel, Minitab, JMP and limited scripting in languages such as R and Python
- Maintenance and development of flight hour behavior profiles as requested by Sustainment and other F135 customers
- Conducting fly-forwards on a regular basis to support programs plans, including but not limited to CFT and hardware inspection planning
- Daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders on inputs to forecasting. Generating standard analysis and potential scenarios, or ad-hoc analysis, is critical to the successful execution of this role.
- Periodic presentations to leadership to explain analysis results
