Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is looking to solve technical and operational challenges within their engineering department, focusing on reverse engineering, facilities management, and vendor coordination to support their vision of accelerating the world's energy transition and achieving net zero.

Requirements

  • Support product design and reverse engineering by working with design engineers to assess tooling and component specifications.
  • Conduct reverse engineering tasks such as component analysis, measurement capture, and data validation, while recommending design and tooling enhancements.
  • Assist with technical and administrative tasks including data analysis, reporting, CAD modeling, documentation, and prototype testing.
  • Proficient in basic math and data interpretation, including calculations involving fractions, percentages, and bar graphs.
  • Able to follow instructions, solve problems with multiple variables, and summarize technical data and inspection findings.
  • Familiar with reading engineering drawings and applying logical reasoning in standardized scenarios.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, Power Apps, Smartsheets, and other internet-based tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and report writing to support technical goals and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project objectives and contributes to strategy development, documentation, and workflow optimization.
  • Engage with external vendors to ensure work is completed in alignment with defined scopes of work (SOW).
  • Actively participate in the management and improvement of facility systems.
  • Investigate root causes of issues and helping to develop and refine plans, processes, and documentation.
  • Support product design and reverse engineering by working with design engineers to assess tooling and component specifications.
  • Conduct reverse engineering tasks such as component analysis, measurement capture, and data validation, while recommending design and tooling enhancements.

Other

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. Engineering from an accredited university. Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and convey technical information in both written and verbal formats.
