The Boeing Company is looking to solve equipment reliability issues in their facilities by hiring an Experienced Facilities Reliability Engineer to support the Facilities team in Portland, Oregon.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- 3+ years of experience working on equipment reliability projects
- 3+ years of experience reliability and maintenance methodologies and tools
- 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience analyzing requirements to develop action plans and facilitate implementation efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and operational issues
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and equipment engineering teams to identify failure modes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports to track equipment performance and failure trends
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and improving equipment availability
- Participate in cross-functional teams to design and implement reliability improvements
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for maintenance strategies and equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with Boeing’s safety and quality standards
