Micron Technology is looking to define and develop PLC programs using Siemens automation systems to ensure flawless functionality and integration of vital infrastructure components for their new facilities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC hardware and programming tools (Step 7, TIA Portal).
- Experience with FasTrak 505 Workshop.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (PROFIBUS, PROFINET).
- Skilled in interpreting P&IDs and operational sequences.
- Familiarity with InTouch HMI systems or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs using Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and FasTrak 505 Workshop.
- Deploy and support Siemens automation hardware, ensuring seamless integration and resolving issues across legacy and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure system reliability, efficient performance, and successful commissioning.
- Research and test new PLC hardware for upcoming projects.
- Program, support, and maintain active systems with minimal to zero downtime.
- Document PLC code, system changes, and configurations thoroughly.

- 3+ years of experience in PLC programming, hardware, and system architecture.
