Paystand is looking to make its workflows smarter and faster by applying AI/ML to real-world challenges and building prototypes and tools that improve productivity.
Requirements
- Experience with Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Exposure to our tech stack (Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning and AI fundamentals through coursework or projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply AI/ML to real-world challenges.
- Build prototypes and tools that improve productivity.
- Partner with teams across Paystand to identify processes that can be improved with AI.
- Design and test prototypes that enhance our current tools and systems.
- Work with our tech stack (Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes) to build and integrate solutions.
- Research and experiment with emerging AI/ML frameworks and tools.
- Deliver solutions on time and clearly present your findings to the team.

- Currently a Junior, or Senior pursuing a relevant degree (CS, Data Science, AI/ML, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence to contribute new ideas.
- Excitement about continuous learning and perfecting your craft beyond just school projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
