BAE Systems' Fast Labs is seeking interns to help grow their software frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to an expanded future state, enabling rapid development and fielding of effects across the RF/cyber spectrum for next-generation mission support.
Requirements
- Software development experience (C/C++ Preferred)
- Python software development experience
- Mathematical Computation Software (Matlab, MathCAD, Mathematica)
Responsibilities
- Support to the design, development and selection of basic software components utilizing fundamental engineering principles, theories and techniques.
- Support to Scientists and Technology Development Managers to develop designs and concepts to be utilized for new business pursuits.
- Obtain working knowledge of company tools.
- Perform analyses and compile data for investigation by senior personnel.
- Support contract work in cyber/RF capability development.
Other
- Registered in and pursuing a technical Bachelor's or Master's of Science Degree from an accredited University.
- Thorough knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant field of specialization.
- Student should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Previous work experience not required but helpful.
