SAIC has new opportunities to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tech Center in Atlantic City, NJ, requiring support for Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering and adaptation of Flight Data Transfer Systems.
Requirements
- Proficient in Linux and GIT.
- Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering.
- Communicate with Air Traffic, NATCA and Facility Representatives to develop Flight Data Transfer System (FDTS) adaptation.
- Convert EFSTS (Electronic Flight Strip Transfer System) Adaptation to Flight Data Transfer System (FDTS) Adaptation.

- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree and 14 years of experience. May accept additional experience or degrees.
- Knowledge of air traffic operations and procedures in the en route and terminal domains.
- Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA, including AJM, AJV, AJT, ANG, and NATCA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
- Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.
