Guidehouse is looking to oversee the development and maintenance of their Appian-based solutions to meet federal client needs and comply with regulations, while also driving practice growth.
Requirements
- A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of professional experience including at least FOUR (4) years of experience in Appian development
- Active Appian certifications and ability to achieve additional relevant certifications upon hire
- Strong knowledge of Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules.
- Strong understanding of Appian development best practices
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate processes across disparate systems, incorporating best practices
- Experience with Java development with Maven builds
- Experience in Enterprise Application Integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of Appian applications, ensuring they meet the client's requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed, developed, and tested to meet client needs and comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage the Appian development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams to ensure that they are following best practices and using Appian development tools and techniques effectively.
- Maintain Appian certifications and stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features, capabilities, and best practices.
- Maintain Appian applications and ensure they remain up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
- Develop new concepts and methodologies to improve people, procedures, and information technology solutions

- Guidehouse Product Managers are highly skilled and experienced in overseeing the development and maintenance of our Appian-based solutions, ensuring that they meet the needs of our federal clients and comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Work closely with clients to identify, prioritize, and document business requirements for Appian-based solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Appian applications.

- US Citizenship and must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
