Seaboard Energy is seeking a Feedstock and Co-Product Specialist to manage accounting functions related to feedstock and co-products, including inventory reconciliation, vendor setup, and procurement duties across multiple facilities.

- Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Excel, Teams, Office, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively with various levels of internal and external customers and suppliers
- Detail oriented and responsible. Work individually and in a team environment
- Highly organized and has experience prioritizing multiple tasks
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet accounting deadlines
- Team player with collaboration skills to build relationships throughout the company working with all facilities and Seaboard Energy customers and suppliers showing commitment to company vision and mission
Responsibilities
- Customer & Vendor Setup for Feedstock and Co-products
- Entering weekly feedstock contracts in Agris and Co-product contracts in Right Angle/AS 400
- Balancing check register against feedstock payables weekly
- Calculating feedstock quality claims monthly to vendors
- Monitoring accounts payable for feedstock and co-products, code and reconcile freight invoices for feedstock and co-products, as well as advances for feedstock
- Reconcile Feedstock inventories for all three Seaboard Energy plants, in tanks, railcars on-site and in-transit
- Scheduling Feedstock and Co-Products weekly
Other
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to sit and work on computer-based programs for long periods of time. Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
- Work environment is primarily office environment. Noise level is mostly low
- Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, working hours to be determined. Occasionally extended hours or changes in schedule will be required as special circumstances arise
