GalaxE (now Endava) is looking to integrate and optimize healthcare-related APIs and applications to improve medication workflows and clinical decision support, ensuring interoperability and compliance with healthcare data standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Surescripts products, including RTPC, ePrescriber, and Touchless PA.
- Strong understanding of HL7® FHIR (R4 preferred) and healthcare data exchange standards.
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with SMART on FHIR, CDS Hooks, and OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
- Solid programming skills in one or more languages: Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), C-Sharp.
- Familiarity with NCPDP SCRIPT, X12, and other pharmacy-related standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of FHIR R4-compliant APIs for medication-related workflows.
- Integrate and optimize Surescripts RTPC, ePrescriber, and Touchless PA across internal and client-facing platforms.
- Develop SMART on FHIR applications and CDS Hooks for clinical decision support.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using modern development frameworks.
- Participate in HL7 Connectathons and contribute to interoperability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data security standards.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support during onboarding and go-live phases.

- Collaborate with EHR vendors, PBMs, and specialty pharmacies to ensure interoperability and certification compliance.
- Document architecture, workflows, and implementation guides for internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments.
- HL7 FHIR Certification or equivalent experience.
- Prior participation in HL7 or NCPDP working groups.
