ABB is looking for a Field Application Engineering Intern to gain practical experience, support operations, and enhance personal education/employment opportunities by assisting with customer needs and ABB's offerings.

Responsibilities
- Leveraging insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
- Learn who the key consultants, end user, utility and EPC/DBC engineers are in the territory and their electrical project needs.
- Work with FAE’s to understand & supply design assistance required, product selection, value engineering, budgeting & required education on ABB solutions to gain acceptance of the same into project specifications.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, in the United States.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
- Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
- Seeking feedback and guidance from the manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
