The company is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineering (FAE) Manager to lead and develop their team of Field Application Engineers. This role is crucial for ensuring the FAEs are technically proficient, commercially astute, and aligned with company standards to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer solutions.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain standardized processes for customer applications, product designs, and technical support.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to strengthen technical and commercial skills.
- Ensure FAEs provide timely, accurate technical solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate collaboration between FAEs, engineering, and product management to improve designs and address field challenges.
- Lead customer visits and presentations, providing technical expertise as needed.
- Develop and execute support plans for new product launches, ensuring FAEs are fully equipped to position and support innovations.
- Collaborate with marketing to provide FAEs with tools, documentation, and sales collateral.
Other
- Lead and support FAEs across the multiple divisions of the organization.
- Assign resources strategically to align with sales initiatives and regional priorities.
- Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and sales teams to align FAE support with business growth objectives.
- Manage department travel and expense budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor team performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Drive process improvements to optimize efficiency and streamline collaboration with engineering and order management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in field application engineering, technical sales, or a related role.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
- Willingness to travel 20–30%.
- Must be willing to work onsite daily, this is not a remote position.
