Analog Devices (ADI) is looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support customers in North America, grow market share, and drive revenue by providing in-depth technical support throughout the customer project lifecycle, solving key customer challenges and reducing their time to market.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 4G, 5G radio base station design, with exposure to 6G concepts and roadmaps.
- Deep expertise in RF circuit design, power systems, RF front end modules, and digital front end architectures.
- Practical knowledge of beamforming, mmWave, fixed wireless access, and joint communication and sensing.
- Strong background in both hardware (schematic capture, simulation, prototyping) and software (embedded systems, signal processing).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for 4G/5G/6G radio base station solutions, including RF front end, digital front end, and power systems.
- Collaborate with customers on system architecture design, system integration, and troubleshooting for advanced radio technologies, including beamforming, mmWave, and fixed wireless access.
- Lead technical discussions and hands-on demonstrations, including emerging topics like joint communication and sensing.
- Stay current with 6G advancements and translate new concepts into practical solutions for customer applications.
- Develop and deliver technical training on hardware and software solutions for internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to shape future product directions based on customer feedback and technology trends.
- Support solution deployment from initial design through field validation, ensuring robust performance and customer satisfaction.
