Automated Logic is looking to solve the problem of designing easy-to-use building automation systems that provide the highest possible energy efficiency, while ensuring occupant comfort, through the assistance of a Field Engineer Intern.
Requirements
- Currently Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Building Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
- Competency with Microsoft software including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Aptitude for translating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Aptitude for problem solving.
- Time management skills including the ability to estimate time required to complete tasks and deliver on the committed timeline.
- Ability to report to assigned work location reliably.
Responsibilities
- Assist to Initiate, install, troubleshoot optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
- Assist to provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
- Assist to ensure that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software.
- Assist loading software, configuring trends, alarms, and reports.
- Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and document the status and details of the project to the internal team.
Other
- Must be a US Citizen or able to work in the US without sponsorship
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Valid and current Driver’s License/ reliable transportation
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
