HII's Mission Technologies division is looking for a Field Engineer (SkillBridge Intern) to train as an Engineer Field 2, learning the maintenance actions and duties required for the Field Technician 2 position. This involves providing availability planning, troubleshooting, and repair of Trainers for the Project Team and schoolhouse personnel at Naval Station Great Lakes.

Responsibilities
- learn the maintenance actions and duties required of our Field Technician 2 position providing availability planning, troubleshooting and repair of Trainers for the Project Team and the RADAR, Interior Communications, and Boatswain’s Mate schoolhouse personnel at Naval Station Great Lakes (GLKS).
- assigned special projects as needed.
- provide independent technical support for the 3 schoolhouses and the project team.
- Use personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports, and inventory control.
- develop a strong understanding of: RADAR Part Task Trainers.
- develop a strong understanding of: VIDVR Trainers
- develop a strong understanding of: Announcing Part Task Trainers

- This is an UNPAID internship through the DoD SkillBridge Program for transitioning active-duty US military personnel.
- DoD SkillBridge Internships are available to help transitioning active-duty military personnel gain real-world experience in the work force sometime during their final 180 days of active-duty service.
- SkillBridge Intern must have a Secret Clearance.
- SkillBridge Intern will be available during business hours of the contract supported for meetings and training.
