Slip Robotics is seeking a Field Robotics Technician to support the deployment, service, and monitoring of their large autonomous mobile robots for loading and unloading semi-trailers, aiming to ensure the successful operation of their robotic systems for customers.
Requirements
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems, gained through work experience or educational background.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performance
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime to the customer
- Document operational data and generate reports to track performance
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and potential areas for improvement

- Provide support to customers during product deployment and post-sales phases
- Assist sales teams in providing on-site demos to potential customers
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in fast-paced operational environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good driving record and reliable transportation to and from job locations
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits (approximately 20% regional travel).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
