OMG Building Products LLC is looking to solve the problem of generating sales for its roofing products in a specific territory by promoting the productivity and quality of these products to commercial roofing contractors and other key customers.
Requirements
- Strong tool dexterity and mechanical ability.
- PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite (Excel).
- Ability to operate a branded company vehicle.
- Ability to access roofs up to 60 feet in height using ladders or other similar tools.
- Ability to talk and hear, walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Maintain database of customers and sales in assigned territory using Salesforce.com or other software programs as provided.
- Submit monthly progress reports, reviewing the past month and focusing heavily on targeted sales in the upcoming month.
- Update the Regional Sales Manager weekly/daily as requested regarding account activities and objectives.
- Communicate clearly with Sales, Marketing and Distribution teams regarding daily logistics and customer needs.
- Complete scheduled job site visits, including job starts, pull tests, field measurements, and equipment service calls, effectively and safely.
- Maintain adequate inventory in company vehicle and necessary stock, samples and literature.
- Perform other tasks as requested
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior sales experience (experience with construction products and/or experience working remotely as a field sales resource a plus).
- Ability to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight travel.
- Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills.
