Guggenheim Securities is seeking a Finance Associate to support the Product Control, Accounting and FP&A functions within the Finance organization to provide critical support to the organization.
Requirements
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Experience with Workday general ledger and OneStream financial planning/software a plus
- Financial services experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Support the daily and monthly financial reporting process
- Participate in monthly close process; ensure reliability and integrity of financial information
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop commentary that adds value and draws attention to key issues and/or perspectives
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 3 days per week
