At Lilly, the business problem is to expand capabilities in finance data and systems to support Finance Forward, by overseeing Finance data and systems in Corporate Financial Planning (CFP), Investor Relations (IR), and Global Services (GS).
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python)
- SAP
- Digital capabilities (e.g., PowerBI, Power Automate)
- Understanding of or experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in finance or support finance area
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify viable alternatives and recommend clear courses of action
- Strong project management skills with a proven history of leading cross-functional initiatives
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide expertise in CFP/IR/GS data domains: data relationships, data quality, understanding of data needs and the associated technology toolsets and methodologies.
- Execute and monitor operations tasks to ensure timely availability of data in a reporting / dashboard structure to the business.
- Perform thorough data validations to ensure data quality
- Respond to queries from internal stakeholders
- Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis to support data and reporting operations
- Execute strategy for managing the lifecycle of CFP/IR/GS data
- Leverage Descriptive analytics and visualization to provide data-based insights on planning, execution and outcomes
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of work in data and or analytics
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Limited travel, up to 10%
