The Finance Intern position at Clarios in Fort Wayne, IN (Summer 2026) aims to support the Finance Team by assisting with various financial processes, reporting, and process improvement initiatives within a real-world manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- Utilizing Accounting Software (i.e. SAP, OneStream, Excel)
- Partnering with supply chain to ensure cycle counting is completed including follow-up for adjustments outside of tolerance and improve receipt accuracy and timeliness.
- Implementing weekly monitoring of adherence to cycle count policies.
- Participating in month-end close activities and analysis/reporting of results.
- Working with the Plant Finance Team identifying process gaps or inefficiency and implementing improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end journal entries
- Assist in daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Assist in creating work instructions for the Finance Team
- Assist in bi-weekly payroll processes
- Improve inventory control documentation including cycle count adherence, root cause identification and action plans
- Continuous improvement of special projects in a real-world manufacturing setting.
- Utilizing Accounting Software (i.e. SAP, OneStream, Excel)
Other
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
- U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
- Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
- Working Arrangements: Onsite at the Plant Location.
