Motorola Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) is seeking a data engineer to join their growing analytics team to expand data infrastructure, develop data pipelines and datasets, and connect analysts to the data they need, primarily for financial data for management reporting. This position will support a new team bridging the gap between revenue operations and data analytics to optimize go-to-market strategy and increase revenue.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience writing SQL
- 4 years of experience writing Python Code
- Familiarity with database administration concepts
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Understands building building and developing web services and API
Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and support optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless data integration.
- Document process workflows and data flow diagrams.
- Developing and managing data integration and ETL and ELT workflows in python
- Assist in database migration, upgrades, and patching
