Microsoft's Finance Rotation Program (FRP) is looking to invest in early-in-profession talent to drive industry-leading work within core finance teams, solve complex business problems using best-in-class AI tools, and develop future finance leaders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Excel (pivot tables, Macros, VBA, etc) or equivalent tools
- Understanding of fundamental finance acumen including data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting
- Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau or other data visualization
- SQL/R/Python or other programming/data science
Responsibilities
- Apply deep analytical thinking and finance acumen to solve business problems, utilizing financial modeling to deliver actionable insights.
- Leverage AI tools and data mining/querying methods to enhance the speed and quality of financial analysis, while actively learning and recommending process improvements for reporting and data collection.
- Communicate analysis clearly and logically to drive recommendations and decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Other
- Complete up to four, six-month rotations in Financial Planning & Analysis roles.
- Submit preferences for teams that interest them most across corporate finance, sales and product groups like Azure, M365, and Gaming.
