Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) needs a Financial Analyst Intern to provide analytic and financial data analysis support for critical DoD and Intelligence Community acquisition activities, focusing on budget and acquisition processes.
Requirements
- Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Managment, Accounting, or similar field
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to communicate to decision makers
Responsibilities
- providing analytic and financial data analysis support for important DoD and Intelligence Community acquisition activities
- exposure to and expected participation in policy and program research
- light data analysis
- development of presentations for senior leadership, focusing on budget and acquisition activities
Other
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to synthesize data and communicate clearly via written and verbal means
- Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, VA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
