Requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., R365, POS systems, third party software integration)
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial controls, and audit processes
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business acumen; ability to collaborate effectively with operational and executive teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee Full-Cycle Accounting Operations: Manage general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll processes.
- Ensure Financial Accuracy & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and coordinate with external accountants.
- Manage Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and analyze variance reports to provide insights into financial performance.
- Lead Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, forecast financial performance, and conduct cash flow modeling.
- Strengthen Internal Controls: Implement and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to support scalable growth and sound financial practices.
- Provide Financial Guidance: Serve as a business partner to operational leadership, offering financial insights and recommendations to drive revenue and control costs.
- Manage Technology & Systems: Implement and improve financial systems and accounting software to enhance efficiency and automation.
Other
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or similar degree is required
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with a strong preference for experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
