Nissan is looking to enhance tax compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency by integrating tax and business expertise with innovative technology solutions. This involves automating processes, managing tax data, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of tax technology platforms.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and automation/data tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and/or Python.
- Familiarity with tax software platforms (e.g., ONESOURCE, BNA Corporate Tax Analyzer) and SAP.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate data flows and tax computations, designing scalable solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency in tax processes.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows, custom reports, and interactive dashboards to support tax data needs.
- Participate in strategic projects to improve tax processes, reduce risk and add value including automation initiatives, system upgrades and process redesigns.
- Maintain and update tax content (e.g., rates, forms, reporting requirements) within tax software platforms.
- Contribute to tax process transformation initiatives through data analysis, automation, and project management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tax-related process and data issues, including software functionality and team inquiries.
- Assist in the creation of a warehouse of key data points required by the tax team.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technology, coding, accounting, finance, or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive, independent problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
